Summary of today's class assignment (Grade-9)

In today's English class (23/03/09) we discussed about subject verb agreement:

This section largely focuses on the areas which are often troublesome to non-native speakers of English, especially Indonesian students. Initially we discussed about subject-verb agreement (please see my attachment) and pronouns.

Our next lesson in English will discuss about words like 'Ink, Milk, gold and wisdom (Uncountable Nouns) because they cannot be counted and also short phrases like ; a piece of/ a bottle, a piece of advice, a bar of soap, a bottle of milk, etc., for understanding about countable nouns.

It is also important that the students understand how to use determiners like a/an, some, much, etc with the right kind of countable & uncountable nouns.

My fervent hope is that our beloved students will be able to speak and write in English better.
