English Oral Examination
Mode of presentation:
1. Students prepare their oral presentations in groups and show it to the class. Then each student in the group must share something about it for 3 – 5 minutes. The criteria for grading are based on; VOCABULARY, CONTENT / CONVERSATIONAL APPROPRIACY / CREATIVITY, GRAMMAR / STRUCTURE, PRONUNCIATION/FLUENCY.
2. Students have to face the whole class while doing their presentations.
3. Students are allowed to use palm cards during the oral presentation. If they read from any notes, their instructor will automatically take off at least 10 points from the overall oral presentation grade. No notes other than the handouts/outlines are permitted.
Students must choose their oral presentation from one of the following topics:
- Lost in a big city.
- Alternative fuel energy.
- Someone you admired the most that has made a difference in your life.
- Your goals after you finish high school.
- How would our life be in the future .
- Tradition.
- The environment in relevance to the green house gasses.
Topics other than the above must be discussed with the teacher first.
