Lesson summary (11/08/2009)

Grade 8

Objective: Students were preparing poem questions for debating activities.

Assessment: Students were asked to generate poem questions in groups of 4 (four) and then they read the questions in class to be debated by the other groups. This lesson was very interactive and lively and students had a lot of fun.

Grade 10
Objective: Students were given time to watch a movie (Prince Caspian) to enhance their listening skills and to prepare for further projects (Debating, critical thinking questions and movie review posters)

Assessments: Watch a movie and answer questions.

Grade 9b

Objective: Students were doing speaking activities; giving opinions and sharing their point of views about children's activities. After that, they answered vocabulary questions from their text books and finally watched a movie; Prince Caspian.

Assessment: Discussions (Speaking activities, writing and watch a movie to enhance their listening skills and to prepare for their poster projects, etc)
